Your child’s school is taking part in the Dignify School Survey, which gives students an opportunity to share their views and experiences of relationships, respect, wellbeing, and school culture.
What the Survey Does
The survey helps Dignify and the school to:
What Students Will Be Asked
Students will answer a series of age-appropriate questions about topics such as relationships, respect, belonging, wellbeing, and support in school. The survey is anonymous, meaning individual students cannot be identified from their responses.
Some questions touch on sensitive topics because understanding students’ experiences helps schools better support young people. Students will be reminded that they can skip questions they do not wish to answer and can speak to a trusted member of staff if they have any concerns.
Why It Matters
The survey provides valuable insight into the experiences of young people today. By listening to students, schools can make informed decisions about how to strengthen their culture, improve support, and help create an environment where every student feels safe, respected, and able to thrive.
Your Child's Privacy and Wellbeing
Protecting students' privacy is a priority. Responses are collected anonymously and are analysed at a group level rather than as individual answers. The survey is designed to be age-appropriate, and schools are asked to ensure appropriate support is available for any student who may need it. Schools also have the opportunity to hide certain sections from younger years if they deem that necessary. The survey is fully GDPR compliant.
Thank you for supporting your child's participation. Their voice will help shape a more respectful, healthy, and inclusive school environment for everyone.

Navigating parenting is difficult, especially when faced with the ever-growing presence of digital devices. So we created this guide to help you with your child's digital journey from 0-18. Remember, there is no one way to do things, but having healthy, informed and open conversations is important!
