Dignify’s research captures the voices and experiences of thousands of children on social media, sexual harassment, and the harms of pornography. We believe these voices must be heard in the national debate.
Our advocacy focuses on ensuring this evidence reaches Government and key decision-makers to drive change that protects children from online harms.
How do we do this?

As part of the Pornography Coalition, Dignify works alongside leading organisations and individuals to tackle the harms of pornography and protect children, adults, and society. This coalition was instrumental in producing The Pornography Review and has collaborated closely with parliamentarians on the Online Safety Act and recent amendments to the Crime and Policing Bill.
Our research drives advocacy for stronger protections against online harms. We fully support the recommendations in Baroness Bertin’s independent review, Creating a Safer World: The Challenge of Regulating Online Pornography, which calls for measures such as:
We will continue to lobby for these recommendations to be implemented and work with partners to ensure child protection remains at the heart of national policy and legislative change. Together, we are committed to creating a safer digital world for every child.

We regularly submit evidence to Parliamentary Select Committees, drawing on our research and lived experiences to influence policy decisions. Our aim is to ensure that child protection remains at the heart of national conversations and legislative developments.
We were honoured to be invited to speak at the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Youth Affairs, where we presented findings from our latest report. This opportunity allowed us to share the voices and experiences of young people directly with policymakers, reinforcing our commitment to advocacy rooted in lived experience.
