we can build and share a new narrative for healthy relationships
Our mission is to engage with, equip and empower individuals and local communities to build and share a new narrative for healthy relationships so that children and young people can thrive, free from the sexual objectification that porn can normalise.
We are looking to fill a new Deputy CEO role to help focus our direction while overseeing a staff and volunteer team of 10 people. You would also work with Dignify’s committed trustee board to help steer our young charity towards the growth that is required to reach and have a positive impact on children up and down the country.
Dignify is based in Watford, but we believe much of this role can be delivered remotely and would welcome applicants from anywhere in the UK, provided that regular face-to-face meetings can be achieved.
If you have a passion for protecting children from harm and empowering them to make right choices, are a gifted communicator and strategist with experience of leadership within the charity sector, and have the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, partners and funders, please consider applying.
A research assistant is needed to support the Research Lead with collating and analysing data received from Dignify's school surveys, and drafting reports and recommendations for schools. These reports enable schools to understand the challenges their students are facing and plan their educational and pastoral response.
This post would be ideal for a recent graduate who wants to gain knowledge and experience of social research in the charity sector, or undergraduates wanting to undertake this post as a 1-year internship as part of a sandwich degree.
Quantitative research experience or A-level equivalent or above in a numerate discipline (such as maths, sciences, economics) is absolutely essential, as are IT skills (particularly in MS Excel), a good eye for detail, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
You will also need to be able to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team, develop and manage relationships with schools and other stakeholders, juggle different projects and work to deadlines without close supervision, and always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, please get in touch!
We are calling the whole community to a #RelationshipReset to help children and young people thrive in communities free from all forms of sexual objectification.
We are working with organisations large and small to adopt this charter and embed it into their organisational culture.
