Local Schools Work in Hertfordshire and Coventry

We have a team of fantastic schools’ workers who can deliver a range of workshops and assemblies to schools across Hertfordshire.

Dignify exists to challenge the culture of sexual harassment that has become normalised in secondary schools, along with the harmful impact that pornography has on children’s physical, mental, emotional and relational health. We also believe that it's important to give Primary School children the tools they need to help keep them safe online.

Together we can build and share a new narrative for healthy relationships, helping children and young people thrive in communities free from all forms of sexual objectification.

Coventry

Our partner CLM in Coventry also has a team of Dignify Licensed Facilitators who are fully trained and experienced in delivering Secondary School Workshops in the Coventry local area. You can get in touch with them directly here.

Parent / Carer Workshops And Family Workshops

Parent / Carer Workshop

As children prepare to transition to secondary schools the risks of unhealthy online and in person relationships increases.

This is an engaging and informative introduction for parents/carers, helping them to be digitally aware and confident in supporting their children to enjoy healthy relationships.

These can be run independently, but we highly recommend that they are used as an introduction to our Family Workshops, supporting a whole family approach.

Family Workshop

Dignify’s family workshop is a one-hour, interactive and engaging workshop for parents and carers to participate alongside their children in Years 4-6 inclusive.

This is scheduled after the parents have attended the introductory workshop. Workshops can be run with each year group separately, or a combined group.

  • Dignify’s latest research from secondary schools.
  • Highlighting online challenges including platform age-ratings, internet accessibility and chat rooms.
  • Tips and signposts to navigate the challenges.
  • How to have the important but tricky conversations with children.
  • Insight into the family workshop – so there are no surprises for parents.

  • Fun, interactive conversations with parents / carers and their children
  • Exploring safe and risky online activities.
  • Children led ‘decision to scenario’ discussions.
  • Stories, including exploring the risks of getting naked on the internet.
  • Making a family digital charter.

Workshops are tailored to each school’s unique requirements, and we would encourage creativity to maximise engagement.

Timings can range from 45 minutes to two hours, and can be in-person or online.

Parent / Carer Workshop (60 minutes) - £175

Family Workshop (60 minutes) - £175

Combined parent and family workshops (2 hours) - £300

Prices may vary for different lengths of workshops

“The sessions that you delivered have been invaluable and perfectly tailored for the year groups concerned. Staff are knowledgeable and talented, and have mastered delivering such a hard-hitting subject in such an engaging way.”

Sian Andrews, PACE Coordinator and Geography Teacher, Watfor
